What it costs
Priced by size and coat
Not by breed. If your dog is badly matted it takes longer and I'll tell you the difference before I start — never after.

What I do
At your dog's pace
Nervous, elderly, or never been clipped before? Say so when you ring — we can take it in stages over a couple of visits and nobody minds.
-
Most popular
Full groom
Bath, blow-dry, full clip or scissor finish, ears, nails, sanitary trim and a good brush-out. Breed standard or whatever length suits your walks.
-
Between grooms
Bath & tidy
Wash, dry, feet, face and feathering tidied, nails done. Keeps things comfortable when a full clip isn't due yet.
-
Under 6 months
Puppy introduction
A short, gentle first visit. Bath, dry, a little trim and lots of stopping for fuss — the aim is that they leave thinking this place is fine.
-
Terriers & spaniels
Hand-stripping
Coat pulled by hand rather than clipped, so the harsh top coat and colour stay as they should. Takes longer, priced by the hour.
-
Double coats
De-shed treatment
Deep bath, high-velocity dry and undercoat rake for huskies, collies, labs and anything else redecorating your house in fur.
-
Quick visits
Nails, ears & feet
Ten minutes, no appointment needed most afternoons. Handy if clipping nails at home has become a two-person job.
On the day
How a visit goes
Appointments only, so there's never more than one dog in at once.
- You drop offCome in with them for a minute — most dogs settle quicker if you're not rushed out of the door.
- Just your dogNo cages, no crowd, no radio blaring. Nothing else is booked in while yours is on the table.
- We stop if we need toNervous or elderly dogs get breaks. If it isn't going well I'll stop and we'll finish another day rather than push on.
- You get a textUsually an hour and a half to two and a half hours, depending on size and coat. I'll text when they're done.
- I tell you what I foundSore ears, a lump, matting behind the legs — you'll hear about it, and you'll hear about any price difference before I start, never after.
Opening
When I'm open
Usually booked two to three weeks ahead. Running late or the dog's had a bad morning? Ring and we'll move it — I'd rather that than a stressed dog on the table.
